About Mueller Family Law
Experience Matters
Amanda "Mandy" Mueller at Mueller Family Law, LLC handles a wide range of Domestic Litigation matters including, Divorce, Custody, Modification, Contempt and DSS cases. Additionally, Mandy serves as a Court-Appointed Guardian Ad Litem and is a Trained Mediator for Family Law Matters.
Mandy is a double graduate of the University of South Carolina, graduating with both her undergraduate degree (2000) and Juris Doctor in 2012.
Mandy started her legal career with the South Carolina Department of Social Services as a county attorney first in Richland and then Kershaw Counties, and represented the agency in over 1,000 family court hearings in vulnerable adult and child abuse/neglect proceedings.
After leaving DSS, Mandy was an attorney for a national family law firm, where she launched the firm's Columbia office. In 2020, Mandy joined the law firm of Burnette Shutt & McDaniel, and became partner in 2022.
Mandy has advanced training in family law through the National Family Law Trial Institute in Houston, Texas. She is a member of the South Carolina Bar Children's Law section, has taught child-protection law for the SC Bar's Law School for Non-Lawyers Program, and volunteers monthly with the Divorce Help Desk in Richland County.
